For many of my clients, I have been honored to be present during the time of new life and promise. For others, it was the tenderness of assisted self-care given through massage and body alignment. Those are fine times to be appreciated; and yet sadly, it is during these trying times that we must not only socially distance ourselves from others, but put a hold on many of the benefits that massage and touch has given us. As an internationally certified doula, I am still able to assist with births and help families feel as protected and safe as humanly possible during these next few months. But as a Mother myself, I am torn to take a break physically from that work and maintain my own family structure as well. I offer in exchange virtual doula meetings, gift cards and massage packages for that silver lining of the future months to come.
